SUMMARY:The Big Apple Blossomtime
DESCRIPTION:This is an annual special springtime opportunity to enjoy the lovely countryside and orchards of the Marcle Ridge in Herefordshire\, where local orchards are famous both for their cider fruit and their dessert and culinary fruit.  This is normally the peak of the blossom season so the trees can look spectacular.  Blossomtime operates over several venues in Putley and Aylton. \nPutley Parish Hall (car parking\, tickets\, information\, guided walks\, refreshments)\, \nCourt Farm Barn (crafts\, talks and a variety of rural activities)\, \nYew Tree Farm (perry orchard\, perry tasting) \nDragon Orchard (cider and perry tasting\, sales and daytime entertainment). \nAll venues are within easy walking distance of each other but there is also a tractor and trailer service running between all venues between 10am and 5pm both days.

SUMMARY:Blossom Tour and Cider Tasting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and informative guided walk around the main orchard in the beautiful blossom. The tour includes a look at our press and outline of the process of cider making\, from growing the apples through to the final product. Following the tour\, there will be a tasting and notetaking session\, you will be able to compare the complexities of a range of our ciders\, plus enjoy a slice of our delicious homemade apple cake. \nTours available at 11am every day until 24 May. \n\nTours and tasting sessions last approximately 2 hours.\nSome gentle walking.\nPlease no dogs as we are a working livestock and cider farm.
