And\, to top it off\, you’ll get to sample our ciders and enjoy a tasty ploughman’s lunch\, all while surrounded by the beautiful Cranborne Chase National Landscape. \nWe are offering 2 sessions for this tour:\nSat 26th April 2025 at 11am\nSun 27th April 2025 at 11am \nThe tour kicks off with a 1-mile guided walk\, suitable for all ages\, around the heart of our cider-making activities at the farm. Bill will take you through the orchard\, which has been newly planted and carefully nurtured\, just behind the cider mill. He’ll discuss different apple varieties and orchard management techniques (and we bet you won’t be able to name all the apple types native to the UK!). \nNext\, we’ll head to the cider mill\, where Bill will explain how he creates our range of ciders and apple juices. Ever wondered if we press cider year-round? You’ll find out during this part of the tour! \nTo wrap up the experience\, join us in our newly built ‘tasting room\,’ where you’ll sample a variety of ciders (and/or apple juices) and enjoy a delicious cheese ploughman’s lunch prepared by the lovely Mrs. M (more details below). \nOur Cranborne Chase Cider shop will be open all day for any additional purchases\, and our team will be on hand to assist with any questions during your visit. \nPlease remember that\, as the event involves both indoor and outdoor activities at a farm\, it’s important to dress for the weather.
