Summertime Soirée

Summertime Soirée

A weekend drinks festival at The Yew Tree Inn.
After a fantastic four years, the Yew Tree is holding another summer drinks festival in 2026. Featuring live music, drinks tastings and food from Firebird Kitchen. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back again.
Blossom Day

Blossom Day

A charity fundraising blossom walk around the Broome Farm Orchards.
In 2019, Becky and Albert walked every single row of the farm, up and down each of them took a grand total of 20 miles! For our charity blossom walk, you will be able to choose different routes to walk the farm orchards of varying length, with cider and cream teas to keep you fuelled up and enjoying the day!
Pizza Friday

Pizza Friday

Join us for a relaxed evening of freshly made stone-baked pizzas, delicious sides, and homemade desserts — the perfect way to unwind with family and friends at the end of the week.

Even better news — kids eat free before 6pm! For every full-sized pizza purchased, children under 12 can enjoy a free small pizza.

Each week you’ll find:

  • Your favourite pizzas on the menu

  • Exciting specials

  • Scrummy sides and dips

  • Homemade desserts

Pair your pizza with chilled cider, wine, Heartsease soft drinks, or our own apple juice from the farm.

Our seasonal Pizza Fridays return from Friday 27th March, with the pizza oven fired up and serving from 3:30pm – 8pm every Friday.

Artistraw Cider- tour and tasting

Artistraw Cider- tour and tasting

Our popular tour and tasting is your chance to learn all about the work we’re putting into creating our museum orchard, the creatures that inhabit it as well as all about how the cider is made. Rich in tales from cider’s colourful history, the tour is also peppered with local stories and folklore.

After admiring the breath-taking view of the Black Mountains at the top of the orchard and exploring the fermentation rooms you will also get to enjoy a glass of three different ciders, whilst sat in our permaculture garden during which we will personally talk you through how we created them.

Whether you’re already a cider connoisseur or have yet to try your first drop, we cater for all and hope you will go away armed with new knowledge about this wonderful beverage and the land and people that produce it!
